“SEXTETO TRADICUBA” bringing all the tradition and flavor from beautiful Cuba! Lead by great percussionist Pedro Vargas, with a very accomplished music background, Pedro has toured all over the globe and arranged music for Barbarito Torres, one of the original “Buena Vista Social Club” member.
SEXTETO TRADICUBA is Pedro’s newest project playing Cuban Son, Guaracha, Cha-cha-cha and other traditional rhythms with a modern twist.

As Ofer rightly put it, let’s caravan up to beautiful Bellingham to support our dancing family, Antonio, Heather y los ninos, and our friends of Rumba NW, in their consistent effort to bring amazing Cuban music and dance opportunities to us all!
Heather and Antonio are hosting a pre-show potluck for the band, 6:30-8pm. Let’s enjoy this lovely Indian summer with an evening of food and camaraderie! (H and A have to be at the venue by 8:15pm but people are welcome to hang
here at their house till showtime.)
Doors for the show open at 9pm.
If you plan on staying, Heather mentioned that on Saturday there is a great Farmer’s Market in B’ham, 10am-3pm. Plus hiking opportunities, or just general lounging in the sweet town of Bellingham or the beautiful Boulevard Park.
