Flash Alert: duane’s Wrenn’s Workshop on Wednesday, May 4th

Posted by on 03 May 2011 | Tagged as: Instruction

Greetings Casineros,
I have a wonderful surprise for you. Due to low attendance on the “Instructor’s Workshop” on Wednesday, we are changing the topic to be a continuation of the workshop on Monday (Original Rueda Moves for Seattle – transitions and patterns designed for Seattle will be learned). And, Guess what? It’s only going to be $5 for two and a half hours with duane!! Yes, five dollars at the door!! We had a blast tonight working on reshaping how we move in the rueda. It will be about footwork to basic rueda moves and much much more. My vacilela, dile que no, coca cola and enchufla are even that much more polished after his Monday class. I highly recommend all levels to come try this workshop on Wednesday.  Hope to see you all there. The workshop is located at the ARC Dance Academy. Hope to see you there!  Una Bulla!

Salsa and Rueda Vacation in Tulum, Mexico

Posted by on 04 Apr 2011 | Tagged as: Events, Instruction

Salseros, Casineros, y Ruederos,

We wanted to let you know that this summer we’ll be hosting our third Salsa and Rueda Vacation in Tulum, Mexico. The dates are Saturday July 16th to Sunday, July 24th. Our previous two trips have been positively heavenly — fun and interesting people sharing their love of dance and music and enjoying the beautiful beaches and unique experiences that the area has to offer.

For the full details, plus photos and testimonials from our previous trips, please visit our website: www.RuedaConRitmo.com/tulum.html

If you join us in Tulum, every morning you’ll be able enjoy Ryan’s class, Rhythm and Listening for Salsa Dancers, and/or Sidney’s invigorating Salsa Workout and Body Movement class. Then, each evening we’ll offer 2 hours of Salsa and Rueda classes and a Dance Party featuring the best Cuban music. It’s a wonderful way to improve your dance and appreciation of music.

In between the morning and evening classes, you’ll have the full day to relax and explore. Zamas, the resort where we’ll be dancing, is literally located 10 feet from the Caribbean, in front of a perfect crescent beach. Tulum is largely undeveloped, and the resorts that have been built, including Zamas, are environmentally low-impact and ecologically sustainable. Nearby you can easily enjoy snorkeling, diving, swimming with sea turtles, Mayan ruins, a UNESCO wildlife sanctuary, and much more. It’s pretty much paradise.

We are offering a special 10% DISCOUNT on room rates and the dance classes if you sign up by April 15th.

Please contact us at ryanandsidney@gmail.com or 301-775-6142 if you have any questions or are considering joining us.

We hope that you will join us in Mexico this July!

Cariño y abrazos,

Ryan and Sid
