I want to let you all know about a new coffee shop that my daughter Sarah and her husband Will have just opened at 25th E and E Union in the Central District.

The name is Cortona and it’s more than a coffee shop. Will has installed a projector in the upstairs sitting area and has made the philosophy of the shop to not only provide good coffee…but in his words..The Central District is a wonderfully diverse community. Our goal at Cortona is to provide not only good coffee and a comfortable place to relax, but also a platform and meeting space for people of different cultures to discuss, teach, listen, learn, and build friendships. Our mezzanine level is freely available for anyone interested in holding community seminars, classes, clubs, discussions, etc. So…If you are in the neighborhood check it out and if anyone would is looking for a meeting place to have discussions or hold a forum this would be a great spot.
