Subject: [Seattle-Cuba] Roberto Borrell

Hi Cuba -heads,

I am working on bringing Roberto Borrell back to Seattle, probably on April 30-May 3rd. I’d love to know what you are most interested in learning, and what hours are best for you to take classes. In the past he’s come for a few days, teaching some late afternoon/ eve classes on a couple of weekdays and some afternoon classes on the weekend.

Thanks for your input. Please email info at elspethsavani dot com

Ann Reynolds announces: “I am happy to announce that I have been nominated for TWO Golden Ear awards – given by the Earshot organization to recognize Northwest artists. My CD, Para Cuba Con Amor was nominated in the category of 2014 NW Recording of the Year (WOW) and I have been nominated as an Emerging Artist in the Northwest (HolyMoly – at my age, I am just emerging :-)). If you would like to vote, you can do so online at the Earshot Jazz website: http://earshot.org/Publication/Miscellany/2015_02_GoldenBallot.html. Then, you can hear Clave Gringa at Tulas this month too.
