Hi gang! I don’t think I’m being too optimistic when I say I’ll plan to see all of you at Alki beach tonight.
Forecast calls for sun, and I’ll plan to be out there between 5:45 and 6 pm, so if anyone else can get there by then or before to stake out a spot and help set up the floor, that would be fantastic! Please let me know via email or text.
Eddie, will you be there as well, with música para gozar?

Its not quite casino or rueda but I know there are a few folks in this community that would be interested in Kizomba and Bachata.
These events are coming up in August (hosted by the Century Ballroom):
Kizomba Workshop (Beginners) on Wed 8/5 from 8:00 to 9:30 $15: Check out this Facebook event
Kizomba / Bachata Social with Carlos Cinta (a really awesome bachatero!) on Fri 8/26 from 9:30 to 12:30 ($6): Check out this Facebook event
Bachata Weekend with Carlos Cinta on Sat 8/27 and Sun 8/28 (Timing and Cost TBD): Workshop details available in this Facebook event
If you’ve ever wanted to learn musicality and Dominican Bachata – there are the workshops for you. Carlos is a great person and has such a passion for bachata- its contagious! He’s one of the few bachata dancers I know, who uses his feet to “jam” with the music
Hope to see you at one or all of these events!
