Seattle Salsa Congress Needs Volunteers to Work Registration

Posted by on 24 Nov 2010 | Tagged as: Events, Social

Hello Everyone,
I volunteered to help at the Seattle Salsa Congress in registration. They still need people to volunteer in this area. What is the benefit?
1. You get in free to see the performances and the dances each night.
2. For casineros, it’s an opportunity to build alliances with our LA Style Salsero Organizers in Seattle. Better to draw in with sugar than vinegar about embracing both styles. That’s why I’m doing this. I want to show support.
3. Some of our friends from Salsa Con Rumba (Eastern WA) are bringing their folks to the congress. It will be nice to dance with them. They are super fun group of peeps.

Here are the shifts they need to fill: Friday 9am-6pm, Saturday 9am-6pm, Sunday 9am-6pm. You have to volunteer for two days to get the free pass. They are in need of volunteers for Sunday from 9-6 particularly.  So if you want to do a Friday and a Sunday, you can do that! Then enjoy Saturday’s events at night. If you are interested, please call, Larry (Volunteer Coordinator) at 206-228-3674

I’ll be there Friday & Saturday.  However Sunday, I’ll be at practica. The snow stopped me last time, cannot miss it this time. I’m staying in Seattle all weekend.
