Thank you to everyone who made last night (Havana Nights in Seattle) happen and keep happening until the wee hours of the morning!!!!
A special thank you to performers Chen Lizra, Mike Eskeldson, E. Mayimbe and Mercedes as Celia Cruz, to La Casa del Mojitos for running the bar and to Mariana for stepping in to provide dinner.
We did it! And we’ll do it again.

A few things people have already mentioned:
-Turn down the volume
-Request to make earplugs available
-Better lighting at the entrance
-Better lighting over in the lounge area
-Better use of stage area for seating
-A few small tables in lounge area and on stage
…….Remember to let me know what worked well too so we can do more of it!
A request for next time: Demonstrations by our Seattle dance teachers! I’d love to see a casino duet by our own, and a son duet so we can see the difference. Merengue? Kizomba? And rueda, por supuesto.
