As a community you collectively want….MORE LEADS.
After that well, a regular place to dance and celebrate Cuban music and culture. An earlier start. A weekend night. Easy parking. A reliable venue. A bar. Combination of DJ and Bands. High energy and a door open to new and familiar faces.
First goal – starting early October, a self-sustaining monthly event that is all about Cuban music, culture and dance with enough publicity and outreach to draw 150+ people
Since experience tells that we will eventually need to rent a space, I am looking for additional venue and sponsor suggestions. If you think it, send it: seattlerueda@gmail.com

Bad timing! After an excellent full weekend with Duane here, folks are exhausted and volunteered out. No worries. When you get your feet back under you I’m sure I will still be looking for help.
The first goal is to get something started in October, but based on your feedback the real work will continue after that. We will need folks to help with outreach, promoting instructors, getting sponsors etc.

thanks chaille for thinking about starting/re-starting this concept. i really like how you summarized the what’s and interests above, in your post. i will be willing to help organize/promote/coordinate as needs arise.
