Andre gets his pretzel on and Cindy and Burt nearly burn a hole in our dance floor. I’m still working on the edit, but you can view a few of the snaps from last night’s smokin‘ Alki session in the gallery section. Check back for additions over the next few days.

This is Joanne from Vancouver, Canada. Me and my friend Marcia were there this past July 2nd and had such a blast!!!! Everyone was so welcoming and positive, but then again what do you expect from the Cuban Salsa community!? We also attended the Super Sones!!!! Was definitely a treat. SUMMER LATIN CRUISES THE BEST SUMMER CRUISES IN VANCOUVER B.C.<<<<< have not been on one but they look awesome and they sell out!

And for clubs – every Saturday at the Waldorf, there is a live band on one side playing salsa, merengue, cumbia. The other side is DJ GoldenBoy. He’s awesome and mixes up the Reggaeton, Salsa, Merengue, some top 40, Bachata, etc. Very lively!!!

Hey I forgot to mention that every other Sunday there is a Rueda/Reggaeton meetup and dance at Kitsilano Beach here in Vancouver. It usually starts around 2:30pm. I’m not sure if it’s this Sunday or not, but you can facebook Karlos Reyes from his group and ask or Vancouver Cuban Sabor on facebook – Julio would know. If anyone needs a couch to crash on while here, let me know!
