Tuesday Rueda Class in June

Hi Everyone,
We had a great pilot class this evening and consensus was that the space was a nice place to be. Here is what I am going to offer in June.
Tuesday Cuban Salsa Rueda
University Heights Community Center
5031 University Way North East
Tuesdays 6-7pm
June 9th, 16th, 23rd and 30th
AND at the end of the class series we will make plans to go out dancing together!!!
4 week class at $12/class for a total of $48
The class can be prorated if you know ahead of time that you will not be able to make certain dates. You are also welcome to join in mid series. A drop in will be $15/hour.

It is not even yet summer in Seattle but we got the weather as if it is! Therefore, we will start sooner than anticipated…so we hope to see you for…
CASINO ON CARDBOARD: Alki Beach Party starts this Thursday, June 4th for 2009
WHERE: Alki Beach on the sandy strip off of Alki Avenue SW in West Seattle. Our exact location on the strip of sandy beach may change each week depending on availability. (We are usually between 57th and 59th Avenues SW, somewhere between Duke’s Chowder House and Homefront Smoothies. Park and simply listen for Cuban music to find us.)
WHEN: Thursdays, 7pm, beginning June 4th
WHAT: cardboard-duct-tape dance floor, music, sunsets, dancing, friends, long nights, and pure fun
I’ll be assisting with the coordination of the event with the help of John again this year; please contact me with any info/questions via the blog or email. In addition, please contact me if you are able to help out with set-up and close, as often help is needed when one of us might not be available.

Hi Everyone,
I found a new location for my Tuesday Rueda class. Tomorrow, June 2nd, I am planning to do a drop in for $12 to get a feel for the space and who would be interested in a 4-6 week series in June/July. It will be at University Heights on 50th NE and university way, room 107, 6-7pm. The series can be prorated if you plan to be out of town for some of the days. Feel free to email me with questions.
