   hm? gianthoupis were you THAT inadequate in trying to mimick the moves??? you probably did fine..?

   anyway.
   FINALLY, a woman to put up there with all those hot shot men. Don’t get me wrong, the guy in this vid was amazing, we’d all die to dance like him. She stole the show, though. I haven’t seen this level of dancing in a long time. (and not just b/c i’m in love…again..ha..like many of us guys are now…but because of the quality of the technique)

   Great vid Cat…any Idea where it was taken?
   looks like another one of their youtube vids said Cuba.

   I was unable to determine with certainty where this video was taken. However, the person who posted it (and a bunch of others) is in Russia. Many of the videos have the title “Baila en Cuba.”

   I received confirmation that this video was filmed in Havana and the dancers are Cuban.

   Thanks, Cat, for posting each week for our viewing pleasure. A big ‘aplauso’ for Cat as she has been doing this consistently since the early Summer 2008!!!

   I loved this video too, perhaps because I just plain love ‘salsa suelta.’ It reminds me of my salsa suelta classes in Cuba last year. What amazes me is just how fast they (she in the video) can move. It is hard stuff. It is one thing to learn the footwork, but to do it fast and recover from mistakes–I tell you it is harder than rueda and couples casino!
